“ What is not to love? Our breakfast experience was superb. Ordered one big brekkie and shared it with the two of us. The servings were big and the flavor was great. The coffee was also to our taste. The ambiance took me back to my days at the university as an undergrad and those hole in the wall places with staff that eventually becomes your friend. Felt very at home with this place. It was so good we had to come and have breakfast again the next day. That says a lot because when I travel I tend to eat and savor different places. ”
“ What a wonderful cafe! I wish I had one in my hometown; although our hometown is full of excellent cafes, this one is exceptional. What makes it so special? Well, a lot of the meals can be made vegan, and a lot of the meals can be made gluten-free. As I continue on my journey and develop gluten sensitivity that comes and goes, it’s really helpful to have options. They use organic dairy products and free range meat. All that’s lovely, but just look at these pastries! An addition to all of the items that you can have made-to-order, they have an exceptionally large selection of savory pastries, ready to eat, such as pumpkin blue cheese Filo and mushroom miso pie. They had Mexican pies and samosas. Perfect for a quick grab, and they will heat them there if you need them to. Plus, the prepared sweet pastries looked exceptional as well. If you view the photo of my husband standing next to the pastries, you will see that look of joy and excitement on his face. What a selection! Did I mention this place stays open very late? And that it was centrally located and only steps from our hotel? If we had more days in Wellington, we would be here every day! ”

“ Our favorite Cafe in Cuba Street and Wellington City Centre. Great atmosphere, great staff, and the best food. Cabinet food portion size is insane, with incredible pricing. I'm not ashamed to say my mouth dropped open and started watering, and with those prices literally nothing is stopping you from buying one of each incredibly delicious looking item. The breakfast and lunch menu is extensive, with customizable options for vegans and meat eaters alike. It's heaven for a vegan like me, who is used to settling for fries and a black coffee at every Cafe she goes to. A trip to the bathroom is a must, because the walls are painted high with incredible glowing art under black lighting. Just wow! ”
